<p>Our appetites can be quite the pranksters.  It often fools us to think we are hungry, when often, we may be suffering from something completely different.  Distinguishing between false hunger and true hunger will help you know when your body really needs food and when it needs something else.</p>
<p><span id="more-171"></span><!--more--></p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Hunger Due to Eating the Wrong Food:</strong> Symptoms include craving high sugar foods or feeling “hungry” soon after eating a meal.  If you just had a big meal that is high in simple carbohydrates and did not contain fiber, protein or healthy fat, all of which help provide a sense of satiety, you may have experienced a drop in blood sugar. In this case, have a healthy snack, such as a piece of fresh fruit and nuts, or cottage cheese or celery and peanut butter or 1/2 of a sandwich on whole grain bread).</li>
<li><strong>Emotional Hunger:</strong> Sometimes, our appetites can go haywire when we are experiencing boredom, fear, anxiety, stress or loneliness. Try taking a walk, journaling, listening to some favorite music, calling a friend or chewing a piece of mint gum instead. Read a book, go to a “safe place” like a library or museum or park where you will not be tempted to overeat or distracted by food. Take a bath, meditate, or think about what REALLY would satisfy you, vs. eating to stuff down emotions you do not want to confront.</li>
<li><strong>Hunger Due to Sleepiness:</strong> Experts at <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.webmd.com/" target="_blank">www.WebMD.com</a> state that two major hormones, leptin and ghrelin, affect and control sensations of hunger and fullness. Ghrelin stimulates appetite, while leptin, made in fat cells, alerts the brain that you have had enough to eat. Lack of sleep causes a significant drop in leptin levels as well as an increase in ghrelin levels, a so called double whammy for appetite control and feelings of satiety.  Daytime fatigue may lead people to overeat (often, high sugar, nutrient poor foods) in an attempt to get an extra surge of energy. This is equivalent to placing a Band-Aid on the true problem. It provides only temporary relief, which is soon followed by a crash in energy levels and a resurgence of “hunger” leading to more snacking, increased sugar cravings, etc….a vicious cycle.  If you are feeling mid-afternoon hunger pains, try: a brisk 10 min walk around the block (fresh air helps, as does exercise, to boost alertness and increase circulation), a cup of green tea (high in antioxidants and low in caffeine relative to coffee), a 1/4 cup of almonds and a small apple (high in protein, healthy fat and carbohydrates, low in sugar, and a good source of magnesium and fiber). Even taking a few deep breaths can help curb fatigue!</li>
<li><strong>Hunger Due to Thirst:</strong> We often mistake thirst for hunger. Try drinking a glass or two of water to identify whether you are truly hungry or just slightly dehydrated, in which case water is the perfect antidote!</li>
</ol>
<p>When you are really experiencing true hunger, however, it is pretty clear to identify.  For instance, a growling stomach will cause us to be cranky and unfocused…until we get some food, that is! If it has been four hours since your last meal or snack, you may well be truly hungry. Don’t ignore true hunger…doing so may exacerbate it and cause you to overeat to compensate for the missed calories. It is important to eat regularly and consistently to keep energy levels elevated and avoid dips in blood sugar. Try to include fruits and vegetables at each meal and snack, along with some protein (cheese, beans, lean meat/poultry/fish) and some healthy fat (avocado, olives, nuts, oil). This whole foods approach will help keep you at a healthy weight and lessen the likelihood for emotional hunger to rear its head!</p>

<p>Their is an art to drinking water and it is related to the science of your body and the water you are drinking.  First and foremost it is important to make sure you take in around 1 to 2 liters of water per day (preferably filtered water free of harmful chemicals).  Second make sure your water is at room temperature.  This will make it easy on your body as far as digestion and absorption goes.  When you bring ice cold water into your body and or any other temperature that is not equal to your bodies natural temperature you body has to work hard to bring that water to its normal temperature.  This will use up your bodies energy.Last but not least drinking water during and around meals are a sure way to create many issues for the body like acid reflux &amp; allergies.  When you consume water right before, during and or after a meal, what ends up happening is  that the water will dilute your stomach acids and their ability to break down foods quick enough for them to head on down to the intestines for proper nutrient absorption.  If this happens enough over a long period of time you are guaranteed to have complications.  It is recommended to take 20 minutes before meals , drink nothing during meals and 45 minutes or an hour after meals when consuming any liquids.  For many this is confusing and down right silly.  They ask, &#8220;How will you swallow your food and get it down your throat&#8221;?  I am not sure what caused this myth that you need liquids to get food down your throat but the body is very well designed.  It does not need any help with working food down to where it needs to be.  Gravity, muscles and other slippery juices take care of that.  Watch animals and tell me if you ever see then drink right after they eat.  Its a natural habit and known fact in many other countries except maybe the U.S.  I can not count the numerous times where I am in a restaurant and I am asked about what I would like to drink and I say nothing, I get the craziest looks.  I have even had one waitress beg me to drink something asap because she was worried about me and the food now apparently lodged in my throat with nothing to guide it to my stomach.</p>

<p>So as you try this for your self, if you are paying attention you will notice a drastic difference between when you do drink water and when you do not.  This is where you will notice that drinking water is an art from on many levels.  I find it best to get my full serving of water for the day right when I wake up, 1hr after breakfast, 1hr after lunch, some time between lunch and dinner and then finally an hour after dinner.  Make sure its not too late so that you do not wake up in the middle of the night.</p>
<p>So there it is in a nut shell, the art of drinking water.  Everyday will be different but eventually you will just be doing it without even noticing.  Post some comments about how this worked or did not work for you.  Oh and one final tip to add.  If your urine is not clear then you are not drinking enough water.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The idea of heaven and hell to me is all relative.  In other words one minute you could be in hell and the other you can be in heaven depending upon your own attitude.  What we put in our bodies is a big determining factor.  The more you learn about what is best for your temple the more you learn what is not so good for your temple.  As you drive down the streets and visit your local markets you will begin to notice how so much of the food on the shelves and in our resturants offer ingredients that take away from your life and health.  Ive notive more and more just how saturated our lives are with hell foods. </p>

<p>What is hell foods??  Some examples are refined sugars, meats with steroids and other anti-biotics.  That is just scratching the surface.  These foods are tempting and satisfying to that little devil in us all that wants its cake and to eat it to.   I have been consciously eating healthy for 6 years now and I am still learning and changing my diet as I climb up that ladder into my own personal heaven.  The more I eat the way god intended the more I am rewarded with an ease of mind and focus that I never imagined possible (heaven).  Just recently I have stopped eating foods like potato chips, french fries, breads with bromine, and many other processed foods.  These foods were foods that went beyond my own control.  I have been able to stop smoking, drinking and fornicating for lustful reasoning&#8217;s but for some reason the food habits were still haunting me.  Quite interesting to me I would of expected it to be the other way around or something.  In our current society (USA &amp; World) where the magic pills and pharmaceutical companies make up some of the largest industries we never stop to think for a moment to realise that all this dis ease is abnormal.  Instead of going to the root of the problem we just try and put a blanket over it and say to ourselves  &#8221;hmm there that&#8217;s better&#8221;.  This only lets it become a bigger monster than it was. </p>
<p>For those of you who believes that heaven and or hell is something that you manifest in your daily lives take the time to make the best of your meals and love yourselfs.  Heaven awaits you!!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So many people complain that it is hard to find cheap health food.  They complain about whole foods prices etc..  On some levels I agree that the prices at whole foods can be steep, however I have found a way to eat right on a decent budget.  First and foremost you have to consider the investment that you spend on your food should always show returns of 150% meaning you get all the nutrients, minerals, fiber , protein etc&#8230; to keep your vehicle (body) running optimally.  We spend more time and money on our cars then we do our bodies and wonder why the world is so backwards.  It starts with you as an individual.</p>
<p>It does not matter how much money you save on food if that same dollar menu food is going to shorten your life, attention span and keep you so scattered that you can not even control you emotions enough to make sound decisions that may bring you a career that you love and a life that you desire.</p>

<p>This plan is not easy in the sense of work but it will save you money and bring more joy and experience into your life.  If you do not like to cook and take the time to prepare your foods this is not for you.  This is for the people that are ready to commit to a healthy &#8220;Lifestyle&#8221; ( a new style of life)</p>
<p>When it comes down to it the foods that are really worth your while are not that expensive and the ones that are you really do not need as much as you may have been consuming in the past which means that you can spend the same amount on better quality and yet consume less of it.</p>
<p>For example I used to eat meat everyday before realizing that it is best to consume about 1lb of meat per week.  So now I can spend that same amount of money on meat and yet buy less and buy organic.  I also realized how much money I spend on healthy not so healthy foods like kettle chips, cereals, and most other packages foods.  This brings me to my next point, that being this planet was blessed with so many raw natural materials such as grains, beans, fruits, nuts, herbs, vegetables &amp; legumes to name the basics.  With this in mind where did all this other crap come from.  I make a decision to take it back to the old school.  I now focus on finding locations that carry all the dried grains, beans, and nuts.  I also look for local farmers markets and do my best to purchase organic fruits, vegetables and legumes from there.  The goal is to spend around the same amount of money per week on food that I was spending ($60), and take that and purchase all of these items for around the same price per week.</p>
<p>So far this has been a great success.  I have been able to find so many deals around town at so many different markets no matter where I go.  There are soo many different ways to configure this type of shopping but just remember that the goal is to eat the way god intended us to with out all the processing, packaging and extra chemicals that go into all of this.  Of course this is more work and it may take extra time out of your life but just let it take away from those moments that really do not contribute to your mind, body and soul.</p>
<p>Find multiple markets where you can get your food.  The type of markets you are looking for are Indian, Oriental &amp; any other markets that provide bulk materials (Whole Foods is one of these type of markets).  Make sure to purchase as organic as possbile.  Focusing on foods like vegetables, sea vegetables ( found in whole foods and other oriental markets.  Know to be rich in iodine, mageneseium and other minerals important to  your bodies chemical make up), grains (brown rice, steel cut oats &amp; quinoa to name a few)  seeds ( pumpkin seeds, flaxseeds etc) fruits, eggs, dried beans,  legumes ( peas ),  nuts and plenty of water from a reliable source that is low in toxic metals and that has balanced ph level.  Begin to experiment in your lab (kitchen) and play with your foods finding which ones work for you the best.  I like to make steel cut oats in the morning with bananas and flax seeds.  I get a great amount of steel cut oats for 3 dollars, bananas for around the same price and flax seeds for around $1.50.  So I am spending a total of $7.50 for a weeks worth of breakfast.</p>

<p>This Documentary is life changing and will open your eyes to whats really going on in the world today.  It is not so much as a conspiracy as it is our constant need to be safe due to our own insecurities and ignorance as immature beings striving to create without taking the time to acknowledge the other side of effects.  The few people out there in the world who have the nerve to create big business do so out of a need to make money more than provide for his fellow brother and sister.  The end result leaves us SOL.  A whole bunch of Indians and no chiefs.  The ironic part of it all is that as the men attempt to conquer the planet they are slowly making them selves extinct.  The one rule that you can not lobby or bypass is Gods rule.</p>
<p>For me this is an absolute wake up call and leads me to imagine the possibilities of a life and a body that is free of these toxins and foreign elements that make me more of a robot and or zombie.  Taking back my life from the hands of &#8220;the man&#8221; is the best thing I can do for myself.  This requires me to be my own man, a whole lot more responsibility but yet with that comes a whole lot more freedom.  Freedom from the tyranny of my own mind and emotions that seem to allude me when I am hopped up on sugar and other intoxicating legal for any age substances.   You gotta love yourself at least&#8230;.</p>

It requires nutrient-rich water below about 20 °C (68 °F). <p>I have had this procedure done and it is the truth.  Way more advanced than any other form of Chiropractic care.  It is easy and painless.  My legs were off balance and one leg was longer than the other.  After my adjustment I was walking funny due to the fact that I was not use to my legs being even and used to walk to compensate my balance or lack there of.  I have went back for several visits and it was the precursor into my year long journey towards setting things straight.  If you think about it why would god make us do the old Chiropractic way of things with pulleys and levers and so much time taken to correct things..  I am a true believer that we are given every thing we need in the natural world.  Thus the atlas bone is one of those things that is built into the body like a dial used to adjust the spine at the slightest tweak.  Do your self a favor and do your research and find a local practitioner or NUCCA in your area&#8230;</p>
